Join an exciting opportunity to enter an on-going weekly therapy group.
We offer a Men’s Group Therapy on Tuesdays from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m., and a Co-Ed Group Therapy on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. You will learn with and from other people, and better understand your own patterns that may be holding you back from the life you want.
In group, you can learn how to develop and maintain fulfilling relationships while breaking your cycle of self-defeating behaviors. Many people in group therapy may be experiencing or grappling with some of the same issues you are---issues or frustrations that can be beneficial to share with others. Those issues may include symptoms of anxiety, depression, relationship distress, job and career frustrations, ADHD, emotional eating, and more.
One aim of the group may be to help you socialize better---and it can accomplish this---but that is not necessarily the main goal. Group Therapy in NYC can help you identify and deal with your emotional blocks and limitations, enabling you to relate better to others, to gain more inner comfort, and to realize your own potential.
Each week in group session, you identify unhealthy patterns you may be repeating, and practice healthier alternatives within the safety that group therapy provides to explore new, healthier patterns.
